Finally Friday Challenge # 26
We have Anne Marie again as our guest designer
Welcome back Anne Marie
This week we have something a little different and I admit I have only done this once and it was a long time ago so It's going to be a big challenge for me.
Retiform Stamping technique.
( her words)
A real fun technique that lets you express yourself artistically by creating fandom lines, shadows or smudged areas and filling them in with stamped images. You can make it colorful or simply one color.

Finally Friday Challenge # 25
This Fridays challenge is " Salt" yep that's right let's try making a background using salt.
here's what you do.
Take a piece of water color paper
use an aqua painter or brush and drench the paper with water
Then paint the paper with your ink
Keep covering the paper until you get 90% or all of it colored. I left the bottoms of mine clear.
Tip the paper up and let the water run off
Then lay your creation down and sprinkle salt on it, as much or as little as you want.
Experiment here, make a few.
When the paper is dry and I mean FULLY dry, brush the salt off and you end up with a beautiful background. The salt absorbs the water and ink leaving a unique look. sometimes it will leave like a crystal look. You can use regular salt, Epsom salt or sea salt.
Heres 2 cards I did using salt back grounds
Ok your turn, lets see your salt backgrounds.
Phyllis has tried our "salt" technique.
Fantastic Job!
Phyllis, Anne Marie said your card is awesome. She never thought of using more than one color and she's going to re-visit this technique and do more.

Finally Friday Challenge #24 ( Guest Designer)
Let's all welcome our guest designer for this weeks Finally Friday Challenge.
Welcome, Anne Marie. I have known Anne Marie for some 30 + years. She has been my inspiration and the reason I started stamping. She is my go to partner in crime and I love her and her family dearly.
Anne Mare has decided to challenge us with
Faux Metal Technique.
( In Her words)
Most of us have used foil cardstock and I have even cheated with tin foil wrapped over cardstock to get that fun metal look, With this technique, you get the thickness and real look of a metal embellishment.
You simply coat your piece of cardstock with versamark, cover with silver or grey embossing powder, heat and dry 3 times. The forth time, have your stamp covered with versamark and ready. Just as the last coat of powder is fully heated press the stamp on and hold 10 seconds. Lift and see!
If you need more help here is a video.

Sorry I don't have a challenge this week. It was a non-stop busy week and I will be going out of town until Tuesday so I don't have a challenge for you this week. Now that doesn't mean you should stop making cards.
We can do this. You create any card you'd like and I'll post it. we'll call it " Free for All " challenge :)
